“I was amazed at the frankness that Dan Eddy was able to glean from the players who were both larrikins and legends. This is a no-holds barred account of perhaps Carlton's greatest era.”

Selected Books

King Richard

Dick Reynolds was regarded by many as Australian Rules football’s greatest player. However, unlike other well-known contemporaries he has never had his story published in this much detail. Until now.

Larrikins and Legends

They were certainly a ragtag bunch of men and they partied hard. But boy, could they play footy. In fact, over a four-year period, the team fielded by Carlton would win three premierships - winning 76 of its 98 matches.

The Shinboners

Having put behind it almost 150 years of experience as one of Australia’s leading football clubs, North Melbourne has reason to be proud. North’s is a fine heritage, a source of justifiable pride to all.
